Why Absolute

As of writing this, there are approximately 48 granite fabricators in St. Louis. Most reputable fabricators have access to very similar raw materials, a common labor pool in which to draw salespersons and installers, and about the same quality. In reality, the main difference between the reputable St. Louis granite fabricators is the quality of service. This is where the “Absolute Experience” sets us apart from the competition.

We come from very humble beginnings as a two-man tile operation in 1999, so boasting about being the best is hard for us to do…but we’ll try.

Net Promoter Score

Absolute subscribes to the globally recognized Net Promoter Score ® System. This system provides a straightforward metric to measure customer satisfaction. We are very proud to say that we are the ONLY fabricator in the St. Louis area that uses it. It consists of having a third party call every customer and ask them one simple question, “On a scale of 0-10, how likely is it that you will refer Absolute to a friend or family member?” We currently have a score of 85%. Now, you’re saying, 85%?  That’s a B, what’s so great about a B?!  To obtain the score, you divide all the responses into 3 groups, you take the percentage of Promoters (score 9 or 10) and deduct the percentage of Detractors (0-6) to arrive at the final score. A 7 or 8 is neither a promoter nor a detractor, but a passive.  An 85% NPS is equal to an average response of 9.5 out of 10. This is over 800 separate projects. 85% is almost unheard of in the Net Promoter community and only the best companies achieve this level of customer satisfaction.
